“And he said, A certain man had two sons:”

“Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.”

“And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,”

“And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;”

“There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:”

“And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead .”

“For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.”

“That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.”
