About Isaiah

Isaiah is recognized as the most extensive and magnificent prophetic book within the Bible, encompassing God's redemptive plan from judgment through to eternal glory, covering a timeline from the eighth century BC to the consummation of history. The prophet Isaiah, son of Amoz, served in Jerusalem during the reigns of four Judahite kings—Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah—a time characterized by Assyrian imperial expansion, political turmoil, and spiritual decline. His prophetic calling was ignited by a majestic vision of God's throne room in the year King Uzziah died, which shaped his lifelong message: God is the Holy One of Israel, utterly pure and intolerant of sin, yet mercifully offering salvation to those who place their trust in Him.
