There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire (לֹא־יִמָּצֵא בְךָ מַעֲבִיר בְּנוֹ־וּבִתּוֹ בָּאֵשׁ)—child sacrifice to Molech, where children were burned alive or passed through fire as dedication.
