Simeon prophesies to Mary: 'Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against' (ἰδοὺ οὗτος κεῖται εἰς πτῶσιν καὶ ἀνάστασιν πολλῶν ἐν τῷ Ἰσραήλ καὶ εἰς σημεῖον ἀντιλεγόμενον).
