My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. mighty: or, hidden

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. guide: Heb. counsel thee, mine eye shall be upon thee
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. let: Gr. run out as leaking vessels
