And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!—The fifth question: Pōs de kēryxōsin ean mē apostalōsin? (πῶς δὲ κηρύξωσιν ἐὰν μὴ ἀποστάλωσιν; "How shall they preach unless they are sent?"). Apostellō (ἀποστέλλω, "send forth with commission/authority") gives us "apostle"—the sent one.
