What Does the Bible Say About Menstruation?

“Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.”

“And she said to her father, Let it not displease my lord that I cannot rise up before thee; for the custom of women is upon me. And he searched, but found not the images.”

“Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.”

“And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying,”

“And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even. put: Heb. in her separation”

“And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.”
