Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly. Meqor chayyim sekhel be'alaiv (מְקוֹר חַיִּים שֵׂכֶל בְּעָלָיו, a fountain of life is understanding to its possessor). Understanding provides perpetual refreshment and vitality.
