So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? (Κύριε, οὐχὶ καλὸν σπέρμα ἔσπειρας)—the servants' question reveals perplexity: if the master sowed pure seed, why tares? They understand the sowing was good; the problem arose afterward.
