Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Jude continues practical exhortations for perseverance. "Keep yourselves in the love of God" (Greek heautous en agapē theou tērēsate, ἑαυτοὺς ἐν ἀγάπῃ θεοῦ τηρήσατε) commands active, vigilant maintenance of position within God's love.
