The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.Two commands: (1) Firstfruits—dedicate first and best to God (not after enjoying your portion first). (2) Don't boil kid in mother's milk—likely a Canaanite fertility ritual. The command bans syncretism—don't adopt pagan practices.
