Bible Verses About being a disciple

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;”

“And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.”

“If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.”

“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily , and follow me.”

“And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.”

“The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master. that: or, shall be perfected as his master”

“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath , he cannot be my disciple.”
