For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders (ἐγερθήσονται γὰρ ψευδόχριστοι καὶ ψευδοπροφῆται καὶ δώσουσιν σημεῖα μεγάλα καὶ τέρατα)—The compound ψευδόχριστοι (pseudochristoi, "false Christs") and ψευδοπροφῆται ("false prophets") appear together.
