Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Paul's battle cry for freedom! "Stand fast" (tē eleutheria hēmin Christos ēleutherōsen; stēkete)—literally "For freedom Christ set us free; stand firm!" Stēkō (στήκω) is military term: hold your ground, don't retreat.
