If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth (תִּדְבַּק־לְשׁוֹנִי לְחִכִּי אִם־לֹא אֶזְכְּרֵכִי)—Davaq (cling/cleave/stick) describes the tongue adhering to the palate, making speech impossible.
