And they led Jesus away to the high priest (ἀπήγαγον τὸν Ἰησοῦν πρὸς τὸν ἀρχιερέα, apēgagon ton Iēsoun pros ton archierea)—The verb ἀπάγω (apagō) means 'to lead away,' often used of prisoners led to execution.
