The imprecatory prayer concludes with finality: "Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD." The Hebrew tirdof be-af vetashmideim mitachat shemei YHWH (תִּרְדֹּף בְּאַף וְתַשְׁמִידֵם מִתַּחַת שְׁמֵי יְהוָה) requests complete judgment.
