That saith, I will build me a wide house and large chambers—the Hebrew ha'omer evneh-li beyt middot va'aliyot meruachim (הָאֹמֵר אֶבְנֶה־לִּי בֵּית מִדּוֹת וַעֲלִיּוֹת מְרֻוָּחִים) reveals Jehoiakim's arrogant ambition.
