Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold (וְטִמֵּאתֶם אֶת־צִפּוּי פְסִילֵי כַסְפֶּךָ וְאֶת־אֲפֻדַּת מַסֵּכַת זְהָבֶךָ)—This verse describes radical repentance through idol destruction.
