This prophecy shifts from individual peace-making (v.5) to corporate restoration of Jacob/Israel. The Hebrew yashrish (יַשְׁרִשׁ, cause to take root) uses agricultural imagery of deep, secure rooting—no longer the shallow planting vulnerable to removal.
