Jesus points to ravens, who neither sow nor reap, yet God feeds them - showing how much more He values and cares for us.

Ravens were considered unclean birds in Jewish law, yet God feeds them daily. If God cares for birds of little value, how much more will He provide for His children created in His image? This isn't an excuse for laziness but an antidote to anxiety. God's provision doesn't negate our work but surrounds it.

Apply This Today

When anxiety about provision rises today, pause to notice birds or other creatures God sustains, and let that remind you of His care.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, You feed the ravens and care for the smallest creatures. Forgive my anxious worry and help me trust that You, who value me far more than birds, will provide everything I need. Amen.
