I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. This verse expands the commitment of verse 7, revealing the internal motivation for obedience. David doesn't merely comply with God's will grudgingly; he 'delights' (chafatzti, חָפַצְתִּי) in it.
