And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many (καὶ πολλοὶ ψευδοπροφῆται ἐγερθήσονται καὶ πλανήσουσιν πολλούς)—After false messiahs (v. 5), Jesus warns of ψευδοπροφῆται (pseudoprophētai)—literally "lying prophets."
