Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. This concludes Jesus's explanation of the wheat and tares parable with glorious promise. 'Then' (τότε/tote)—at the consummation, after judgment separates righteous from wicked. The righteous will 'shine forth' (ἐκλάμψουσιν/eklampousin)—burst into radiant glory, blazing with light.'As the sun' (ὡς ὁ ἥλιος/hōs ho hēlios)—maximum brilliance.
