And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him (ἔβαλον ἐπ' αὐτὸν τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτῶν)—the disciples place their outer garments on the unbroken colt as a makeshift saddle, but the action carries deeper significance.
