Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement (כִּי־אֶל־אֵל הֶאָמַר נָשָׂאתִי לֹא אֶחְבֹּל, ki-el-El he'amar nasati lo echbol)—The verb nasa (נָשָׂא, "to bear, carry") refers to accepting punishment.
