As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem (כְּצִפֳּרִים עָפוֹת כֵּן יָגֵן יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת עַל־יְרוּשָׁלִָם, ketsipporim afot ken yagen YHWH tseva'ot al-Yerushalaim)—like צִפֳּרִים (tsipporim, birds) עוּף (uf, flying, hovering), Yahweh will גָּנַן (ganan, defend, shield).
