Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. Paul's triumphant conclusion. "Wherefore" (hōste, ὥστε) marks logical inference from the Spirit's testimony. "Thou art no more a servant" (ouketi ei doulos)—emphatic denial of slave status. The singular "thou" makes it personal.
