“Come to Heshbon. Let the city of Sihon be built and established;,Wherefore they that speak in proverbs say, Come into Heshbon, let the city of Sihon be built and prepared:,  עַל־כֵּן יֹאמְרוּ הַמֹּשְׁלִים בֹּאוּ חֶשְׁבּוֹן תִּבָּנֶה וְתִכּוֹנֵן עִיר סִיחוֹן׃ ‬,Wherefore they that speak in parables say: Come ye to Heshbon! Let the city of Sihon be built and established!,διὰ τοῦτο ἐροῦσιν οἱ αἰνιγματισταί ἔλθετε εἰς εσεβων ἵνα οἰκοδομηθῇ καὶ κατασκευασθῇ πόλις σηων,Therefore say they who deal in dark speeches, Come to Esebon, that the city of Seon may be built and prepared.,על כן יאמרו המשלים באי חשבון תבנה ותכונן עיר סיחון,For Heshbon [was] the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon.,עַל כֵּן יֵימְרוּן מְתָלַיָא עוּלוּ לְחֶשְׁבּוֹן תִּתְבְּנֵי וְתִשְׁתַּכְלַל קַרְתָּא דְסִיחוֹן ,Therefore, say the proverbs:Come to Heshbon; let the city of Sihon be builded and finished:”

“a flame from the city of Sihon. It has devoured Ar of Moab”

“Which reaches to Medeba.,We have shot at them; Heshbon is perished even unto Dibon, and we have laid them waste even unto Nophah, which reacheth unto Medeba.,  וַנִּירָם אָבַד חֶשְׁבּוֹן עַד־דִּיבוֹן וַנַּשִּׁים עַד־נֹפַח אֲשֶׁר‪[4]‬ עַד־מֵידְבָא׃ ‬,We have shot at them Heshbon is perished even unto Dibon, And we have laid waste even unto Nophah, Which reacheth unto Medeba.,καὶ τὸ σπέρμα αὐτῶν ἀπολεῖται εσεβων ἕως δαιβων καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες ἔτι προσεξέκαυσαν πῦρ ἐπὶ μωαβ,And their seed shall perish from Esebon to Daebon; and their women have yet farther kindled a fire against Moab.,ונרם אבדה חשבון עד דיבון ונשים עד הנפח אש על מידבא,Woe to thee, Moab! thou art undone, O people of Chemosh: he hath given his sons that escaped, and his daughters, into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites.,וּמַלְכוּ פְסָקַת מֵחֶשְׁבּוֹן עֲדָא שׁוּלְטַן מִדִיבוֹן וְצֲדִיאוּ עַד נֹפַח דִסְמִיךְ עַד מֵידְבָא ,And the kingdom hath ceased from Heshbon, the dominion hath passed away from Dibon, they have laid waste unto Nophak which joineth Medeba.”
