יָדָהYadah

Meaning: To confess, praise, give thanks

The Hebrew yadah (יָדָה) means to confess or give thanks—acknowledging truth openly. 'He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy' (Proverbs 28:13).
