For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song (כִּי שָׁם שְׁאֵלוּנוּ שׁוֹבֵינוּ דִּבְרֵי־שִׁיר)—The captors demand entertainment from captives. Shovenu (those who took us captive) becomes shoalunu (asked/required of us)—forced performance.
