But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled (τοῦτο δὲ ὅλον γέγονεν ἵνα πληρωθῶσιν αἱ γραφαὶ τῶν προφητῶν)—The phrase τοῦτο ὅλον ('all this, this whole event') encompasses the arrest, betrayal, desertion—everything.
