They fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed (ἔφυγον ἀπὸ τοῦ μνημείου, εἶχεν γὰρ αὐτὰς τρόμος καὶ ἔκστασις, ephygon apo tou mnēmeiou, eichen gar autas tromos kai ekstasis)—tromos (trembling) and ekstasis (ecstatic astonishment) capture holy terror before the supernatural.
