He appeared in another form unto two of them (μετὰ ταῦτα δυσὶν ἐξ αὐτῶν περιπατοῦσιν ἐφανερώθη ἐν ἑτέρᾳ μορφῇ, meta tauta dysin ex autōn peripatousin ephanerōthē en hetera morphē)—this references the Emmaus road appearance (Luke 24:13-35).
