And they cried unto the children of Dan. And they turned their faces, and said unto Micah, What aileth thee, that thou comest with such a company? Micah's neighbors "cried" (vayiqre'u, וַיִּקְרְאוּ) to the Danites, calling them to stop and account for their theft. The Hebrew qara (קָרָא, "to call/cry out") can indicate urgent shouting or summoning to attention.
