Then Jeremiah said unto all the people (וַיֹּאמֶר יִרְמְיָהוּ אֶל־כָּל־הָעָם)—The prophet addresses the men, and to the women (אֶל־הַגְּבָרִים וְאֶל־הַנָּשִׁים) equally, dismantling their attempt to divide responsibility.
