In the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him (בְּיוֹם פָּקְדִי פִשְׁעֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל עָלָיו, b'yom pokdi pish'ei yisrael alav)—The verb פָּקַד (pakad, 'visit, attend to, punish') appears frequently in judgment contexts; God's 'visitation' brings reckoning.
