David's joy ('my tongue was glad') and hope ('my flesh shall rest in hope') arise from resurrection confidence, not circumstances. The Greek 'kataskenösei' (shall rest) means 'to pitch one's tent' - a temporary dwelling awaiting permanent resurrection body.
