Read this verse in depth with cross-references and study notes
Paul's declaration of strength is not in self-confidence but in Christ who gives him power for everything.
We can do all things—not through positive thinking or human willpower, but through Christ who strengthens us. This is not a blank check for anything we want, but a promise that in everything God calls us to do, Christ will provide the strength to accomplish it. His strength is made perfect in our weakness, enabling us to do what would be impossible on our own.
