Galatians 5:1
Read this verse in depth with cross-references and study notes
Paul urges believers to actively protect the freedom Christ has won for them.
Freedom in Christ requires vigilance and intentionality. We can easily drift back into legalism, performance-based religion, or patterns of sin. Standing firm means consciously choosing to live in the grace of Christ rather than reverting to old ways of thinking and living.
Apply This Today
Examine your spiritual practices today—are they expressions of freedom in Christ or attempts to earn God's favor through performance?
Prayer
Father, help me stand firm in the freedom Christ has given me. Guard my heart against legalism and help me live fully in Your grace. Amen.
