Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. The heart is the control center of life—our thoughts, desires, words, and actions all spring from its condition. This is why spiritual disciplines matter—they protect our hearts from contamination and cultivate godliness. What we allow into our hearts shapes who we become.
