God guides us not only for our benefit but for the honor of His own name.
When we call on God as our rock and fortress, we acknowledge His strength and reliability. He then leads and guides us for His name's sake—meaning His guidance upholds His reputation as a faithful God. Our lives, directed by Him, become testimonies to His goodness and reliability.
