Philippians 4:6
Read this verse in depth with cross-references and study notes
Paul commands us to be anxious for nothing but prayerful about everything.
This verse doesn't minimize life's challenges but redirects our response. Instead of anxiety, we're called to prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. Bringing everything to God in prayer demonstrates faith that He is both sovereign and good. Thanksgiving acknowledges His past faithfulness even while requesting present help.
Apply This Today
Replace one anxious thought today with a prayer of supplication and a statement of thanksgiving for God's past faithfulness.
Prayer
Lord, I choose to bring my concerns to You in prayer rather than carrying them as anxiety. Thank You for Your faithfulness. I trust You with everything. Amen.
