Jesus continued His warning about sin: 'Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched' (ὅπου ὁ σκώληξ αὐτῶν οὐ τελευτᾷ καὶ τὸ πῦρ οὐ σβέννυται). This vivid imagery describes hell's eternal nature.
