And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb (οἱ δὲ ἐπέδωκαν αὐτῷ ἰχθύος ὀπτοῦ μέρος καὶ ἀπὸ μελισσίου κηρίου). The disciples offered ichthyos optou (ἰχθύος ὀπτοῦ, "broiled fish")—ordinary food from a recent meal.
