And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go. Jesus continues exposing the Sanhedrin's bad faith: ean de erōtēsō, ou mē apokrithēte (ἐὰν δὲ ἐρωτήσω, οὐ μὴ ἀποκριθῆτε, 'and if I question, you will never answer').
