For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God. Elihu attributes to Job a statement Job never made. The Hebrew chepets (חֵפֶץ, "profiteth") means to find pleasure or advantage. Yitratsen (יִתְרַצֶּה, "delight himself") comes from ratsah (רָצָה), meaning to be pleased with or find acceptance.
