Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam (הִנְנִי שֹׁבֵר אֶת־קֶשֶׁת עֵילָם, hineni shover et-qeshet Elam)—Hineni ('behold, I am about to') signals imminent divine action.
