The phrase רְצוּץ דָּכוּא מִשְׁפָּט (retsuts dakku mishpat): 'crushed, trampled in judgment.' This occurred because Ephraim 'willingly walked after the commandment' (הוֹאִיל הָלַךְ אַחֲרֵי־צָו, ho'il halakh acharei-tsav)—but which commandment?
