Joel 2:12
Read this verse in depth with cross-references and study notes
God calls us to return to Him wholeheartedly through fasting, weeping, and mourning.
Return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. God desires complete return, not partial repentance. Fasting demonstrates sincerity, weeping shows genuine sorrow for sin, and mourning reveals deep contrition. These disciplines aren't about earning forgiveness but expressing wholehearted return to God. He welcomes us back with compassion when we come completely.

Lord, I return to You with all my heart. Receive my fasting, weeping, and mourning as expressions of genuine repentance. Welcome me back. Amen.
